MMWG Group Urges FG To Negotiate With Boko Haram For Release Of Chibok Girls

The Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria (MMWG) has urged the federal government to negotiate the release of the abducted scchoolgirls in Chibok, Borno state, with Boko Haram insurgents.

According to the group, the problems of insecurity in the country can only be surmounted through negotiation and intensive prayers.

In its Eid El Fitr message signed by national coordinator, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi on Monday in Ilorin, Kwara state, the MMWG also called on the security agencies in the country to use advanced intelligence-gathering mechanism to locate the sponsors and perpetrators of insurgency in the country. This will ensure “that over 200 school girls in captivity” are rescued and peace returned to the nation. The Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria (MMWG) has urged the federal government to negotiate the release of the abducted scchoolgirls in Chibok, Borno state, with Boko Haram insurgents.
