Comment Of The Day: President Jonathan Goodluck Of Nigeria Vs Mallam Lamido

"PRESIDENT JONATHAN GOODLUCK OF NIGERIA VERSUS MALLAM LAMIDO SANUSI"

The two or many wrongs do not make one single right in all reality. Let the Central Bank of Nigeria's activities and the tenure of Lamido Sanusi as its governor in charge be both audited by an autonomous accounting agency while his controversial suspension is still pending in order to avoid any future interference with the investigation.

The President of Nigeria should not appoint any new CBN governor to replace Lamido Sanusi. The next CBN official in the hierarchy of leadership to Lamido Sanusi by law and civil service order can act as the acting CBN governor until the outcome of the whole investigation is over. The massive allegation of the looting of the Nigeria's oil money that ran into billions of the American dollar by Lamido Sanusi against the NNPC should be audited also from the time that Jonathan Goodluck became the President of Nigeria to date. Let the court of law in Nigeria be allowed to do its job by resolving this dispute over the suspension of Lamido Sanusi by President Jonathan Goodluck. The court's main job under any democratic governance is to resolve disputes and to interpret the constitution - Sunday Iwalaiye.
