Taraba speaker, Mr. Haruna Tsokwa is dead



The Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Mr. Haruna Tsokwa, is dead. He was said to own passed on in early hours of Saturday at the Federal Medical Centre, Jalingo.  Tsokwa, 47, took over the Speaker after the former speaker, Mr. Isa Ajiya, was impeached.

The speaker, a identified loyalist of Taraba acting Governor, Umar Garba, is engaged in a appropriate tussle with the ailing Governor Danbaba Suntai, around his refusal to just accept a page transmitted by the governor signifying his intention to continue duties after a 10-month shortage on medical treatment abroad.

It was not immediately ascertained how he died, but our correspondent collected he instantly got sick on Wednesday and was hurried to a medical facility where he gave up early Monday.
