Lots of federal services are disrupted in US as the government shutdown went deep into a second day. What keeps kicking is Twitter. Federal agencies didn’t forget to tell Netizens that they were not working anymore.

First of all most agency branches' simply tweeted of the news.

The Department of Treasury were by far more creative:
The Department of Defense tweeted Obama's message that the troops are pretty much the only government employees that can depend on getting paid.
The Library of Congress tweeted its closure:
So did the Smithsonian, which runs 18 national museums and the National Zoo:
The Center for Disease Control and the Department of Agriculture also tweeted about their closure.
Meanwhile the White House's tweets are getting ornery and self-promotional at the same time:
So the government has no budget for social media anymore but a few stern and surly 140-character laments were released into the confounded blogosphere.
