A woman was arrested and charged with murder related charges after drowning her son in the bathtub because his private part was too small to enjoy life, according to a statement released by police in Indonesia.
The woman, 38, was arrested after her son, 9, drowned in the family bathtub. During police questioning, the woman admitted to drowning her son, telling police that her motive for the murder was because his penis was too small to possibly enjoy a happy life.
The woman was not satisfied with the size of her son’s private part after a routine circumcision operation, so she decided to end his life. She also told police: “I thought that with such a small private part, my son would have no hope of a bright future.”
After the son had bathed, the mother drowned him in the family bathtub. Then, she pulled him out of the bathtub, dressed him and put him to bed. A judge ordered the woman to undergo a full psychiatric evaluation.
