First Latin American SITREP - Saker Community






Some caveats, greetings and pointers: foreword
Hopefully this will be the first of many Latin America SITREPS. The Saker has given us a valuable opportunity to speak out and offer you our view on the current stories developing in our continent.
Mainstream MSM, as we all know, have done a well known job on misinforming, deforming and distorting the last 15 years of Latin American awakening, it’s key importance and fundamental role in the constitution of the Global South (a non-geographical, global entity) and the negation of the historical subject that has been the central nerve of the Latin American epoch change: the poor of the earth, as Cuban patriot and apostle José Martí once said.

Russia's Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights has suggested a public investigation into the mass graves near eastern Ukraine's Donetsk could be carried out by a joint Russian-Ukrainian human rights mission, the council's head Mikhail Fedotov told RIA Novosti in an interview.

Over 450,000 Healthcare Workers to Strike in UK, Demanding Higher Salaries




Over 450,000 National Health Service (NHS) workers are expected to strike over pay in England Monday.


"NHS staff across England are on strike for fair pay from 7am to 11am [06:00-10:00 GMT] on Monday 13 October," UNISON, one of UK's largest trade unions, reported on its website Monday, also saying that "UNISON members working in the NHS in England will go on strike on Monday 13 October from 7am to 11 am and will be taking action short of strike action from 14 to 17 October".
A total of five British unions, including UNISON and Unite, will take part in the protest.
