Man accused of killing police dog in Columbia, SC bagged 35 years
COLUMBIA, SC — More than a police dog died Dec. 16, 2011, as an armed robber fired seven shots during a police manhunt through a North Columbia neighborhood.
While no Richland County Sheriff’s deputies or Columbia Police Department officers were hit by bullets, scars remain.
Sheriff’s deputies still cry as they remember Fargo, the K9 who was killed. The trauma of gunfire causes hesitation when they are called to track criminals.

Woman lost her life While Waiting To See Governor Aliyu
Niger State - A 46-year-old woman died today in the office of Niger State Governor, Mu'azu Babangida Aliyu, after waiting for several hours to see him. The deceased was identified as Hajiya Belkisu Mahmoud, a mother-of-three. She had to wait for a couple of hours to see the Governor who was busy after the New Year break. Eyewitnesses say that the woman, who was allegedly suffering from asthma, was immediately rushed to the Minna General Hospital. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead later.
Apparently, Ms. Mahmoud was denied access to the Governor as her name was not on the approved protocol list of those to see him. There is no official statement from the government yet, but Mr. Aliyu reportedly left the office after the incident. Doctors at the Minna General Hospital refused to comment on the incident.
Singer Ciara got a strong message for bloggers
The newest trend for "celebrities" is apparently writing open letters to blogs and those who love them. The latest one originates from Ciara, who apparently is fed up with how she is depicted on blogs. Although I've never truly seen lots of negative things said about her by bloggers, Ciara certainly thinks the creativity of blogs is gone. This might have stemmed from a particular blog posting a few of her recent instagram pictures and discussing her as Future's 6th baby mama. See the letter below titled "What Is Social Media Coming To ".
Continue after the break.

Gov Elechi talks about rescuing Nigeria. ( Do you agree with him?)
Gov Elechi wrote-
“When the airways collapsed, they did not rescue Nigeria. Jonathan revived the airports and allowed the private sectors to operate. And now, we have a total result,” he said. They did not come to rescue us. When the Nigerian railways collapsed, they did not rescue the railways until Jonathan revived the railway system.
“When the power sector was in comatose, they said nothing about it until the road map was given by the current president and we see positive changes happening, they say they want to rescue Nigerians.
“When the economy was so bad, they did not rescue Nigeria, now that World Bank has found out that Nigeria has over taken South Africa and has become number one economy of the continent that is the time they are rescuing Nigeria,”
