A landlord discovered $1 million left underneath mattress in an apartment forgotten by a tenant




Owner Ma Guangdi was preparing to advertise for a new tenant for the apartment in Dongguan, China, and was in the process of cleaning up when he discovered the cash. When the bed and mattress in the main bedroom were moved, four large packages tightly wrapped in tape were revealed. Opening one of the packages, Mr Ma discovered bundles of notes in various denominations, from 5 to 50 yuan. He decided to notify police, who seized the cash on suspicion it was gained by illegal means.

Shooting in Florida apartment building, 7 dead



Seven people were killed, including the gunman, in an overnight shooting at a South Florida apartment building, authorities said.  Hialeah police Sgt. Eddie Rodriguez told Fox News that the gunman was shot dead by a SWAT team member following a standoff.  During the hours-long standoff, the gunman held two hostages, who were unharmed. At least four victims were found dead inside the building, Rodriguez said early Saturday.  At least one victim, a male, was found dead across the street from the building. It was unclear if the victim was purposely targeted or if he was hit by a stray bullet, according to Rodriguez.
WSVN.com reported that the manager of the West 46th Street apartment building and his wife were among the victims. Police did not identify the gunman or the victims early Saturday.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing, Rodriguez said.

13 Teenage Chinese Prostitutés Arrested In An Apartment In Ikeja, Lagos



On Emina Crescent, off Toyin Street, Ikeja, 13 teenage Chinese prost-itutés have been arrested and detained by the Nigerian Immigration Service following a raid of their base. The young girls were said to have been brought in for the sake of Politicians, business executives and expatriates to hire for s-éx at the cost of between $1,000 and $2,500. The dirty business was said to have been run by Sun and Yin Li.
The couple running the business, alongside the other girls are said to be in hiding now as only 13 girls were successfully picked up from the scene.  The arrest was confirmed by the NIS spokesman, Joachim Olumba, who said the girls are in their custody. He also said they are on the trail of the kingpin of the s-éx ring. And after investigations, they will either deport the girls or hand them over to their embassy here in Nigeria for appropriate action
