A bomb went off at Trade Fair Complex on Zoo Road near the popular Shoprite shopping mall in Kano State. Based on police report, a lady bomber about 18 years of age died with at the people injured. The region has been cordoned off  by security attached with Shoprite. Details later...

The Police in Kano state today July 27th averted what may have been another fatal bomb blast in the ancient city. Police operatives averted the calamity after discovering a Peugeot 406 car with registration number AA 513 ZAK, laden up with explosives at the mosque of Sheikh Isyaku Rabiu at Goron Dutse. Bomb experts neutralized the explosives immediately and no casualty was recorded.

 More devastating news for the country.

Sahara Reporters just sent out a tweet that National Emergency Officials have reported an explosion in Nyanya general part of Abuja.
The news organization spoke with several emergency responders heading to the scene. They are unacquainted with the explanation for explosion.

Loads  of casualties is yet to be ascertained but a number of individuals have died and security officials have taken on the area.
The news comes after the tragic explosion at the Nyanya bus garage in Abuja on Monday 14th April 2014.
