History was made recently with the
inauguration of a multi-billion naira ethanol plant at Igbesa, Ogun State. The
company, Allied
Atlantic Distilleries Limited is the first ever cassava based Ethanol
Plant producing Extra Neutral Alcohol in Africa (ENA) otherwise known as
ethanol utilizing cassava as raw material. The plant, a product of backward
integration initiativeof government is expected to supply raw material not only
