Meet the Liberian man diagnosed with the 1st case of Ebola in US
The identity of the person identified as having the 1st case of Ebola virus disease in America on Tuesday September 30th has been revealed. He's 42 year old Eric Duncan, pictured above. In accordance with reports, this is Eric's first visit to the US and he went there to go to some family members. He's believed to have contracted the deadly virus from an infected pregnant woman in Liberia.
About 15 people who Duncan came touching in the US have now been traced. They include five students from different schools and his girlfriends children. All contacts however haven't shown any outward indications of the condition and are considered doing fine. Eric is in a critical condition.
