Damilola Koya DeadDamiloa Koya Dead: Babcock University Student Died In Sleep – Damilola Koya, a 300L Economics student of Babcock University, was found dead in his hostel room at the Bethel Splendour hall on Tuesday October 7th 2014.According to the reports, it is believed that Damilola Koya actually died in his sleep. His death is making it the second Babcock University has recorded in the last three months.



Three months ago, Busayo Ogunkoya, also a student of the institution was shot dead by a drunk security guard during a birthday party at a hotel in Ikorodu, Lagos state.

After Busayo Ogunkoya’s death, Babcock University released a press statement saying Busayo was no more a student of the school when she died.

As for the death of Damilola Koya, no official statement has been issued yet. It is really sad that someone this young would die in his sleep this way. I hope this issue is thoroughly investigated to ensure his death is natural. May Damilola Koya’s  soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
