Storages of explosive materials are set on fire in Donetsk region



Unknown criminals have set aflame the state storages of explosive materials of “Pavlovgrad chemicals producer” in Donetsk region, informs the Ukraine General Prosecutor office in their report on Saturday.

According to the report, unidentified masked and camouflaged individuals assaulted the storages of research and production association “Pavlovgrad chemicals producer”, located on the skirts of the city Ambrosievka.
“At the moment of the assault the storage security men were disarmed. The storages with almost 40 tons of ammonite,an explosive material, were completely destroyed by fire”, says the Prosecutor office.
A criminal case against “assault of objects, containing the items which pose a danger for the wider public” has been initiated by Ambrosievka DA office of Donetsk region.
Since the middle of April the Kiev government has been conducting special-forces raid in the east Ukraine, aiming to suppress protests raised as the response to the coup. The most violent struggle took place in Slavyansk, now controlled by self-defense forces, also in Kramatorsk and Mariupol. Moscow has called this raid reprisal, because of the numerous victims it caused, and appeals to Kiev to stop it, reports RIA NOVOSTI.
