five-hour struggle between people of the crazy Islamic sect, Boko
Haram, and military troops in Damaturu, Yobe State, killed at the least
127 persons, all but two combatants, based on reports from army and
authorities officers. The
stench of rotting corpses from the morgue hung around Damaturu Specialist Hospital on Tuesday, the place where a reporter mentioned 31 bodies determined as those of extremists. There
was huge rifle struggle involving the terrorists and the army in
Damaturu between Thursday and Friday, when the insurgents infected
authorities and military formations.

Nigeria not broke, but has cash flow Issues— FG
ABUJA — THE Federal Government said yesterday that Nigeria was not broke but admitted that the country was having cash flow problems.
Accountant-General of the Federation, Mr. Jonah Ogunniyi Otunla and the Director-General of Budget Office, Mr. Bright Okogwu, stated this while answering questions from members of the Senate and House of Representatives Joint Committee on Appropriation and Finance.

14 Years Old Boy Rap*es 9 Years Old Girl To Death
The police in Lagos State have commenced investigation into how a nine-year-old girl died, after sustaining injuries caused by alleged consistent rape. According to police authorities, the deceased was molested over five times, by a 14-year-old student, Onyi Adimabua, in the Ikorodu area of the state. The father of the deceased, Simeon Jigo, told PUNCH Metro that Onyi is the son of the proprietor of the school his daughter attended.
