The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Abubakar, has ordered the deployment of adequate security around University campuses nation-wide.A statement by theForce spokesman, Chief Superintendent of Police Frank Mba said,
“This was created to help secure life and property in the Ivory Towers and provide enabling environment for lecturers, students, academic and non-academic staff to start their lawful businesses without let or hindrance.”

Asari Dokubo has been introduced 2 days after he was caught in Benin Republic. The best choice of the Niger Delta People's Offer force was allegedly introduced early this morning after Leader Jonathan intervened on his behalf with the Leader of Benin Republic, Yayi Boni. Kidnappers abduct former footballer's Dad, Wants ₦50m
Kidnappers have grabbed the 83-year-old father of a former Super Eagles Player, Chikelue Iloenyosi, in Njikoka Local Government, Anambra State. We learned that the victim, David Iloenyosi, was returning from the church on Friday when he was abducted by the assailants. A household source said the kidnappers plugged Chikelue father's car and then put him in to another car before boosting off.
He said,
“On Monday, Pa Iloenyosi (James) was driving home from morning Mass when some men in a Toyota Camry blocked his Peugeot 504 and pulled him out of his vehicle. They subsequently put him inside their own vehicle and sped off.Continue.

Here are some pictures from the All Progressives Congress (APC) congress march taking place at INEC HQ, Abuja. The APC says the protest to INEC headquarters is to join up its disapproval of the Commission's chain of problems in performing recent elections, including the ‘inconclusive'Anambra Governorship poll. They're demanding the termination of Anambra gubernatorial poll. The protesters were stopped with a detachment heavily armed policemen who prevented them from achieving the INEC offices. Protesters include former Lagos governor, Bola Tinubu, former military mind of state, Muhammadu Buhari, and Chief Bisi Akande.
