Heartless: Couple Land In Jail For Pouring Hot Coal On 12-Year-Old Son

A couple, Mr Ajibaye Elikana, 49, and Elizabeth Ajibaye, have been remanded, in prison custody by an Osogbo Chief Magistrate’s Court, on Tuesday, for allegedly pouring hot charcoal on their child. The accused persons were said to have committed the offence on January 2, 2013 at Okinni in Egbedore Local Government Area of Osun State. Police Prosecutor, Sergeant Elisha Olusegun, in the charge sheet accused the duo conspired among themselves and causing bodily harm on their 12-year-old son, David Ajibaye. Olusegun informed the court that the accused bound the hands and legs of their son with rope and bathed him with charcoal all over his body.

A 28-year-old man appeared in the court for allegedly raping his mother. It is alleged that the suspect raped his mother who was sleeping in the family's sitting room on Thursday night at around 10pm."The victim was sleeping in the sitting room while her husband was enjoying his sleep in their bedroom. It is reported that the victim only noticed that it was her son who violated her, when he went out of the house through the window," said Acornhoek Police spokesperson Lieutenant Mpho Koli.

Koli said the suspect was remanded in investigations continue.

Suspect exhuming his son's corpse

The police command in Kogi state have arrested a middle aged man, Mr Hosea Folorunsho in Egbe town of Yagba West local government council for the alleged gruesome murder of his son for ritual purpose. Briefing journalists on the arrest in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital, the Commissioner of Police, Mr Mohammed Katsina says the suspect, a herbalist, also buried the child in a shallow grave in his own compound.

Apparently a man killed his son and removed his vital organs before drinking his blood…reason being he was told to do so to get rich. According to residents of Lango Baya village, Kenya, the man butchered his five year old son after he threw out his wife from his home the day before the incident occurred.
