#BringBackOurGirls: Yoruba People are not Dumb

The leader of Boko Haram, Ibrahim Abubakar Shekau, 42, Fulani, in his latest video released by the Associated Press, said that if the parents of the missing girls should release their images and names, he will kill them all.

Chibok girls: President GEJ inaugurates fact-finding committee

President Goodluck Jonathan today inaugurated a 30-man fact-finding committee to look into the rescue of kidnapped Chibok girls. The committee is expected to speak to the public at least once a day to keep everyone abreast with recent developments on the case.

The committee will look into issues surrounding the abduction of the girls and also consider possible rescue plans. While inaugurating the committee, the President said;

"You will agree with me that this is not a committee that brings joy to me and indeed our country men and women. However, it is a necessary step which government must take to confront the sad circumstances surrounding the abduction of female students, our daughters in Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok.
First let me make it very clear – luckily the Minister of Justice is here – that this committee is neither a judicial committee nor an administrative committee to look into the affairs of this incident. No. It is not administrative panel set up by federal government or a judicial committee. I must make that very clear because those are the responsibilities of the state and not that of the federal government. Continue...

Poor devices also accountable for bad system companies - NCC

 In accordance with Director of Public Affairs, Nigerian Communications Commission, Mr Tony Ojobo, the utilization of substandard phones is just a major contributor to poor  network service telecommunications subscribers experience sometimes. He explained this yesterday at Abuja while talking to journalists.
"Substandard phones have contributed to the level of poor services because there is a certain required power in cell phones that would enable it to transmit signals. If the requirement is not met, then it will create problems in the network and that is why when people call a particular number they are unable to reach the number. This is not necessarily because there is no service there; but because their phones are not powered enough to sense signals because they are substandard" he said.

By bombing Yugoslavia US wipes floor with int'l law - Expert

15 years ago the United States cut up Yugoslavia's map. If prior to that Washington had played behind the scenes, in the situation of Serbia the Americans acted openly. Without the UN SC resolution, the NATO bombed peaceful cities for 11 weeks ruthlessly destroying the civilian and military infrastructure, thus in essence wiping the floor with international law.

What in the West would later be called "humanitarian intervention" has in fact nothing to do with humanism – 78 days of bombing took lives of 2,000 people, two thirds of whom were peaceful civilians. Over 10,000 people were wounded.

FFK accuses some'important individuals' of sponsoring Boko Haram in new article

 "Nigerian's don't want to accept the ugly fact that there are some key individuals, who some of them still literally worship and rever, that are the ones actually encouraging, fueling and funding Boko Haram and that are waging war against our people" Femi Fani Kayode writes in a new article titled 'The Haramites of Boko'. Quite an interesting read. Find it below...
"My worst fears have been confirmed and sadly the Haramites of Boko have struck again. Another terrible bomb blast has taken place in Abuja and many innocent people have been butchered, slaughtered and maimed. At the last count the number of those killed is no less than 39 despite attempts by the international and local media to play the number of casualties down. This damning display of primordial and pure savagery by Boko Haram comes barely two weeks after over 100 innocent people, including women and children, were killed by another bomb, on the same spot and by the same people. This is surely too much for us to bear.
