TB Joshua banned from hosting revival in Ghana after stampede that killed 4
Ghanaian authorities have temporarily banned the Ghana branch of TB Joshua's Synagogue Church of All Nation from hosting revivals, days after four people were killed and 13 more injured in a stampede during a church service on Sunday May 19th.
Thousands of people flocked to the church after church officials announced that holy water would be distributed. During the rush for the anointed water, three women and one man lost their lives after being trampled over.
Ghanaian authorities said the stampede could have been avoided if the church had used a bigger venue. The church is no longer allowed to hold revivals at their Spintex Auditorium in Accra.

Nigeria Still Winning The War Against Boko Haram: kills three, arrests 25 BH Bombers in Borno
Military authorities in Abuja yesterday said that the Special Forces troops at the weekend killed three insurgents in Maiduguri, Borno State and arrested 25 others.
The Defence Headquarters, DHQ, which stated this yesterday in a statement signed by the Director, Defence Information, Brig.-Gen. Chris Olukolade, also said that troops had intercepted “messages sent to fleeing insurgents urging them not to give up but fight to the end.” said the attempt by some of them to heed the call was foiled at the weekend as they were trailed to some settlements and towns towards the border where they had planned to regroup.
Olukolade added that the troops destroyed the insurgents’ assembly points in areas north of Baga, a border town with Chad.
Northern Governors Set To Dump Jonathan and PDP
The political atmosphere in Nigeria is highly combustible at the moment and OluFamous has gathered from top political players in Abuja that a powerful tsunami is coming. There is going to be so many casualties in the "explosion" but President Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP will most likely be the losers.
My source, an insider, said they are now ready to ensure that PDP crumbles...
In their reaction to the suspension on Monday of Governor Rotimi Amaechi, northern governors on the PDP platform were said to have made "serious" contacts and those of them who are bold enough have decided that the best option is to see to the collapse of the PDP as soon as possible.
My source said the Norther Governors who are ready to move and join the opposition are well aware that it was President Goodluck Jonathan that gave the orders for Amaechi's suspension and information available to them was that some of them will soon be suspended and ridiculed too.
Amaechi VS Goodluck - It’s fight to the finish, says Amaechi
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, yesterday wielded the big stick on the embattled Rivers State Governor and Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, NGF, Rotimi Amaechi, by suspending him from the party.
The National Working Committee, NWC, of the party hinged his suspension on anti-party activities. But Amaechi has vowed to fight his suspension to the finish. “I will not leave the PDP. I will go to court.
The aircraft issue is same politics, pure politics. For one year plus, a minister refuses to sign import permit. I’m sure you are aware of the House of Representatives’ Committee report on the plane issue. “I want to say the way these people at the federal level are acting, they may come for my life. So, when you pray, please pray for me,” he said. He said there was nothing wrong for a governor to ask for his right, “which the PDP is now describing as anti-party.”

Electronic fund transactions to hit ₦2.48tn monthly
The Nigerian Electronic Fund Transfer and Instant Payment transactions on the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement are likely to hit N2.48tn on a monthly basis. The projection is based on the revelation by the Central Bank of Nigeria that NEFT and NIP transactions, processed by the NIBSS, had reached N80bn daily, which will translate into about N2.48tn monthly. The Deputy Governor, Operations, CBN, Mr. Tunde Lemo, recently disclosed that the NEFT and NIP transactions were already in the range of N80bn daily.
Lemo explained that the NIP was recording over N20bn in daily transaction value, while NEFT was conducting about N60bn transactions daily. The NIP and NEFT are e-Payment channels used to make payments for huge transactions electronically. The NIBSS provides the infrastructure for automated processing, settlement of payments and fund transfer instructions between banks, discount houses and card companies in the country.

CHEAP LIE: John Kerry calls the US drone program "strict, accountable and fair"
On Sunday, addressing a gathering of students at the University of Addis Ababa, the U.S. Secretary of State called this country's drone program one of the strictest, most accountable and fairest programs never targeting any civilians, or even avoiding firing "when we know there are children or collateral". Lying about the drone program or other aspects of the U.S. policy has become habitual for U.S. officials, but this time the outright lie was so evident that The Washington Post, which first reported of Mr. Kerry's statement late on Sunday, by Monday afternoon removed the story from its website, with the internet link referring the reader to another, completely different story.

Strange:10 Year Old boy kills his Father
A 10-year-old boy in California was charged with killing his neo-Nazi father, according to court proceedings. The son of a neo-Nazi ring leader told his younger sister that he planned to shoot his father and then a day later took a gun from his parents' room and fired a bullet into the head of his father as he slept on a couch, a prosecutor alleged Tuesday.
The boy's father, Jeff Hall, was a plumber with no work and the regional leader of the National Socialist Movement, who led rallies at synagogues and at day labor sites.
In opening statements in the murder trial, Riverside County prosecutor Michael Soccio dismissed the idea that the neo-Nazi beliefs of Hall contributed to his child's behavior, as the defense maintains, and instead said the boy, now 12 years, was a violent child who had been expelled from every school he attended.
