A 20-year-old herdsman, Abubakar Mohammed in Oyo State has confessed to killing his master because he refused to fulfil his promise of giving him a cow after serving him for a period of time.

Tribune reports Abubakar said instead, his master sacked him about six weeks to the date he was supposed to fulfil the promise. And right now, he is cooling his heels at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Iyaganku, Ibadan, in Oyo State Police Command.

The Sokoto state Police command has recovered and returned N15million which was stolen from an unidentified man by a 5-man armed robbery gang at the Ilela border market in Ilela LGA of Sokoto state onJune 1st.

Parading the suspects with the money recovered at the Sokoto state Police command headquaters,  DCP Douglas Agbonleni who spoke on behalf of the Sokoto State Commissioner of Police, Gambo Lawal, gave an insight on how the robbers were able to dislodge their victim of the money and how they were subsequently caught.

The young son of an Australian jihadist has been photographed gripping the severed head of a slain Syrian soldier. Khaled Sharrouf's son, considered to be aged seven, used his hands to hoist the decapitated head up as he posed for a chilling photo. His proud father, among Australia's most-wanted terrorists and a suspected war criminal, posted the photo to Twitter on August 8 with the caption:'Thats my boy!'.Sharrouf also uploaded an image of himself posing with the  same soldier's head with the caption:'Just what a head.  Mad Man Stabbed Nigerian Policemen In Alakija Lagos

A suspected kidnapper who disguised as a mad man has been arrested at Alakija bus stop in Lagos after he allegedly attacked two policemen on duty with a bottle.  The drama took place in the premises of a Redeemed Christian Church of God in Alakija part of Lagos state Nigeria yesterday. The policemen on duty were attacked because they tried to chase an outrageous woman from the premises of the church.

Shinkafi was governor of Zamfara State in 2007 to 2011 and was Aisha Babaginda's second husband.

"The story is about a couple who attends a church around the IPO axis in Lagos. The name of the Church is (name withheld) opposite the MTN mast in Baruwa around Ipaja area of Lagos State. The Pastor whose name is (name withheld) dedicated a baby on sunday 1st June, 2014 and the baby (pictured above) died right there in the church.

 It was an unusual thing to have seen a pastor dedicating a baby without carrying the baby on his hand. What the Pastor did was to sprinkle oil and he prayed without even touching the baby. When someone who was invited by the couple, Godwin and Amaka Mark asked them why the pastor wasn't carrying the baby, they stated that it was a norm in that church for babies to be dedicated in that manner. Soon after the benediction, the Pastor disappeared from the church and when the parents of the dead baby realized that their child was no more breathing, they called the pastor on his mobile phone. The State Security Service (SSS) also known as Department of State Services (DSS) has carried out a detailed investigation into the ‪#‎Nyanya‬bombings which has led to the arrest of some suspected masterminds of the attacks. Find below details of the Press Briefing.

Recall that on 14th April, 2014 at El-Rufai Motor Park, Nyanya, a bomb explosion occurred which resulted in the death of 74 people, leaving several others injured. As investigation was ongoing, another bomb blast occurred on 1st May, 2014. Following these incidents, and in line with Security Forces commitment to bringing to book perpetrators of evil in our society, a thorough investigation was initiated which led to the arrest of some suspected masterminds of the attacks. They include:

Julie Sondra Decker from Tampa, Florida, revealed that she started describing herself as 'nons-exual' at the age of 15 and when she became aware of the term 'as-exual', she changed it.

The head of Russia's air force, General Viktor Bondarev, got an interesting present during his visit to Iran - an Iranian copy of a US spy drone ScanEagle. The drone represents "the technical capabilities of the Islamic Iran," according to The Guardian.

The Yasseer drone was provided to Russia on the sidelines of a meeting in Tehran between Bondarev and Farzad Esmayeeli, the air defense commander of Khatam al-Anbia, the Revolutionary Guards' military and industrial base.

"The drone built by the Islamic republic's Revolutionary Guards is a symbol of the technical capabilities of the Islamic Iran and today we presented a real model of it as a gift to Russian air force … and the Russian people," Esmayeeli said after meeting.
