See How These Young Nigeria Girls Were Turned To $-ex Slaves
In what appears like a recurrent cycle of shame, the men of Nigeria Immigration Services have foiled an attempt to export five Edo girls into slavery. The five teenagers and one boy were intercepted with a suspected human trafficker, simply identified as Stella Daniel, from Cross River State at Seme border as they were trying to enter neighbouring Republic of Benin enroute war-torn Republic of Mali.
The girls, Blessing, Abigael , Ella Ojo, Faith and Isabella and Lucky, the only boy, (other names withheld) had quietly absconded with Daniel to chase the proverbial Golden Fleece in Mali. They all claimed ignorance of the civil war in the country of their destination. For them, the attraction to work in a bar abroad was too tempting to ignore.

The Niger Delta self declared militant, Mujahid Abubakr Asari Dokubo has given his opinion concerning the Underage Marriage Bill recently approved.
He took to Facebook page to expressing his opinion on the issues.
"People should learn to respect other people's sensibilities. We Muslims have the right to marry when we want or give out our daughters at any age we want. It is not your business and the law must respect our right to do so.
Anything short of that is an infringement on our rights. We did not ask you to marry ladies of that age or give your daughters out in marriage at that age. Plzzzzzzzz respect our sensibilities."

Prôs-titution : 200 Nigerian Girls trafficked to Russia Every Month
At least 200 Nigerian girls are trafficked every month to Russia for prôs-titution. Nigeria’s ambassador to Russia, Ambassador Asam Asam, disclosed this in an interview with the Europe Correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, in Berlin, Germany.
Investigation has shown that the crime had declined in Western Europe following strict laws on illegal migration, and joint efforts by Nigeria and the governments of those countries to curb the menace.
But the ambassador disclosed that attention had shifted to Eastern Europe as the new destination for the trade. He said: “The major consular challenge we face in Moscow is the influx of trafficked persons from Nigeria.
Not less than 200 girls are trafficked every month, and we have so many of them exposed to danger. “Some are thrown out of the window and treated harshly. There must be a way of stopping these racketeering.
