Again: Another Migrant Boat somersault and drown In Italy
A migrant boat capsized between Sicily and Tunisia on Friday and hundreds of souls were in the ocean, the Italian navy said, and the national news agency ANSA said corpses have been spotted. The incident occurred just over a week after the about 319 people drowned when a ship carrying Eritrean and Somali migrants sank nearby the southern Italian island of Lampedusa.
“You will find at least 200 people in the ocean and our helicopters are picking them up,” said a navy spokesman, adding that two navy ships were also on the scene. Last week's disaster was among the worst in an extended migrant crisis that has seen countless amounts of people arriving in small, unsafe boats in southern Italy. Lampedusa, a little island located midway between Sicily and Tunisia, has borne the brunt.

Jang, Amaechi clash again
I am of the opinion that the press should stop disturbing the Nigerian public with the inability of the state governors to conduct a mere election of 35 persons. They all have shown that they are not true democrats-both the person that changed the rule to suit him by being the umpire in an election in which he is a major contender, and the person who failed to accept the outcome of an election simply because he lost. They are not the best the country can afford. I want to suggest the proscription of Nigeria Governors’ Forum for it is of no value to an ordinary Nigerian. The forum is self-serving and their ongoing fight is over the nation’s money. Enough of all these distractions.

Mugabe runs for election in Zimbabwe, again
You don't rule a country especially one as volatile as Zimbabwe for 33 years without knowing a thing or two about seeing off rivals reports the AFP.
Since taking up the reins of a newly independent Zimbabwe in 1980, Mugabe has for three decades deftly brushed aside opponents and, with power consolidated, kept subordinates in their place.

President Jonathan May Increase Petrol Prices, Again
President Goodluck Jonathan says he will definitely raise gas prices again, but will “discuss” with the public the easiest way to do it.
In New Year’s Day 2012, Jonathan greeted Nigerians with the shock of new oil prices as he attempted to scrap so-called oil subsidies, leading to widespread strikes and protests that almost toppled his government.
He solved the problem at that time by partially revoking the effort. He raised the price to 97 Naira a liter, up from 65 Naira.
Speaking at a press conference in Lagos today, Mr. Jonathan said, “We cannot continue to waste resources meant for a greater number of Nigerians to subsidize the affluent middle class, who are the main beneficiaries.”
