STRANGE: Two Cousins Die While Having $-ex In Imo



Hell was let loose at Umualianya kindred Umumpe, Umuevu Okirika-Nweke in Ahiazu Mbaise LGA of Imo State last Monday when a man, Mr Mathias Nwoko and his female Cousin, Angela Ihuoma Anyanwu, met their untimely death while making love to each other.
Sources in the community told us that the late Mathias, 45, had returned home from his Onitsha base to attend the priestly ordination of his kinsman, Rev. Fr. Anayochukwu Onuoha, held at Mater Dei Cathedral, Umuahia, Abia State last Saturday June 20 2013.


It was learnt that all through the ordination ceremony, Mathias and the late Angela were literally tied to each other, with the latter taking the front seat of the former’s jeep.

‘We Were Paid N150,000 To Kill School Proprietor'



The Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Ikeja, Lagos, has arrested three men, who claimed they were contracted to kill a 65-year-old school proprietress, Mrs. Veronica Okenido, A police source told Saturday PUNCH on Friday that the leader of the gang was 25-year-old Jude Ekpenisi, who confessed that were paid by an undisclosed person to assassinate the woman.

According to a statement Jude made, they pitied Okenido because she is a Christian.

“We had compassion on the woman and rejected the N150,000 we were offered but asked the woman to pay us off with the same amount,” the suspect said.

Shooting in Florida apartment building, 7 dead



Seven people were killed, including the gunman, in an overnight shooting at a South Florida apartment building, authorities said.  Hialeah police Sgt. Eddie Rodriguez told Fox News that the gunman was shot dead by a SWAT team member following a standoff.  During the hours-long standoff, the gunman held two hostages, who were unharmed. At least four victims were found dead inside the building, Rodriguez said early Saturday.  At least one victim, a male, was found dead across the street from the building. It was unclear if the victim was purposely targeted or if he was hit by a stray bullet, according to Rodriguez.
WSVN.com reported that the manager of the West 46th Street apartment building and his wife were among the victims. Police did not identify the gunman or the victims early Saturday.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing, Rodriguez said.

The passport was immediately seized and he was asked to to leave Kenya, as Nigerians only come to Kenya to take their woman, he resisted and insisted that he committed no offense, he was immediately attacked and beaten to a pulp and he was bleeding profusely.

UNBELIEVABLE: Bird Turns Into Woman In Broad Day Light



Things like this were only seen in movies before now, but it happened on Thursday at Afromedia street in the Okokomaiko area of Lagos. The story behind the bird that changed in this woman is strange: 
From what I hear, three (3) birds were flying in the area and suddenly one fell and landed into a water and to the surprise of all around, the bird changed into this woman. A source told uthe bird-turned-woman was "arrested" by the police where she confessed to be a native of Ikole, a town in Ekiti State. I wonder how the police is going to handle this case. Strange indeed!

Two Anambra Governorship Aspirants Involved In Auto Crash




Two members of the House of Representatives who are equally aspirants in the November 16 governorship election in Anambra State, Hon. Mrs. Uche Ekwunife and Hon. Afam Ogene, were on Friday involved in an auto accident in which they narrowly escaped death.

Ekwunife who is the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Environment along with Ogene, Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs were in a Lexus bullet-proof jeep travelling from Abuja to the East when the accident occurred along the airport road within the federal capital territory, FCT in the early hours of Friday.

In what appears like a recurrent cycle of shame, the men of Nigeria Immigration Services have foiled an attempt to export five Edo girls into slavery. The five teenagers and one boy were intercepted with a suspected human trafficker, simply identified as Stella Daniel, from Cross River State at Seme border as they were trying to enter neighbouring Republic of Benin enroute war-torn Republic of Mali.


The girls, Blessing, Abigael , Ella Ojo, Faith and Isabella and Lucky, the only boy, (other names withheld) had quietly absconded with Daniel to chase the proverbial Golden Fleece in Mali. They all claimed ignorance of the civil war in the country of their destination. For them, the attraction to work in a bar abroad was too tempting to ignore.

Jonathan is ungrateful –Gov Nyako •It’s Nyako who is ungrateful to President –Presidency



Adamawa State Governor, Murtala Nyako, has accused President Goodluck Jonathan of ingratitude and unfairness.
He also accused the President of concentrating more on developing the South-South, while ignoring developmental problems in the rest of the country.
Specifically, the governor, expressed displeasure over the way he was being treated by the party in spite of the sacrifices he made to ensure the President’s victory during the PDP primaries and the 2011 presidential election.
However, Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Ahmed Gulak, said it was Nyako, who was being ungrateful and unfair to the President.

Army corners Boko Haram leader, Shekau, in Borno hills



The leader of the Boko Haram Islamic sect, Sheikh Abubakar Shekau, may have been cornered by operatives of the Joint Task Force in Gwoza hills, Borno State.
A top security source told Saturday PUNCHon Thursday that the JTF had located the area where the Boko Haram leader was hiding.
The source stated, “We are combing Gwoza hills where we believe Shekau is hiding.”
The source added that a unit of the Army’s Special Forces team had launched a “well-coordinated assault” on a group of insurgents somewhere in the Gwoza hills areas on June 26, 2013. Shekau, the source added, was in the group of Islamists, with some of his closest aides.

Commercial Motorcycle Rider in Court for Raping Passenger



A commercial motorcyclist, John Ugwu, on Friday appeared before an Enugu State High Court for alleged rape.
The prosecutor, Mrs. Chinyere Ugwuja, alleged that the accused raped the victim when he was conveying her to her village at Amaeke Ngwo in Udi Local Government Area on May 25, 2011.
Ugwuja said an eyewitness alerted the police who rushed to the scene around 10 p.m. on the fateful day and rescued the victim.

She said the accused picked the victim from 9th Mile on her way from Onitsha, but rather than take her to her destination, he diverted to a bush and raped her.

The story has been circulating and some have said her name is Florence Ngwu and she is a 300L student of University of Nigeria. Till now, sources can't say what her mission in the hotel was. They still don't know who she came to see in Lagos, that made her lodge in the hotel, but her dead body was found on the floor. Really sad, it's not even one year that Cynthia Osokogu died. Man Stabbed Over ₦10 (Photo)



A 24-year-old man, Kunle Oyebanji has been charged before Ejigbo Magistrates' court in Lagos for allegedly stabbing a retailer, Umoru Musa, over N10 cigarette. Oyebanji was charged with assault and refusing to pay for a stick of cigarette to Musa who sells provisions at 1, Pipeline Street, Idimu, Lagos.

Narrating what happened, Musa said Oyebanji usually buys provisions from him on credit. But after some months, Musa said he stopped selling to him when he refused to pay his debts and threatened him whenever he asked for his money.
