Husband Catches Wife Having Séx With 16-Year-Old Student




A suspicious husband used the GPS capability on his wife’s cellphone to find the 38-year-old teacher having séx with a 16-year-old boy. Amie Neely now faces a felony séxual assault charge after being arrested by Port St. Lucie, Fla. police early Sunday morning, according to TC Palm. WPBF reports that the boy was an exchange student living with Neely and her husband at the time of the alleged assault. There is also another exchange student still taking up residence there, according to the station.

Policemen Tortured, Shot Me Within Lagos Police HQ –Mechanic




A 30-year-old mechanic, Oladele Adebanjo, has accused the policemen attached to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Lagos State Police Command of torturing and shooting him while he was in detention.
Adebanjo said he spent seven days in the SARS custody at the police command headquarters in Ikeja, over false allegations that he stole a commercial bus.

Vice-Consul, United States Consulate, Lagos, Mr. Christopher Richardson, says many applicants are refused American visas because they have not visited other countries.
Richardson spoke at a seminar on the ‘American Visa Regime: the role of lawyers’ organised by the Immigration Lawyers Forum in Lagos on Tuesday.
He said, “The majority of the visa applicants prefer the US as their first outing. This creates doubt, especially when the applicant has not visited any other countries before.”

California Legalizes Google's Driverless Car On Public Roads





The state of Carlifornia has passed a bill which allows the usage of Google’s driverless car on the state’s public roads.Governor Jerry Brown rode to the signing ceremony at Google headquarters in the passenger seat of a vehicle that steered itself, a Prius modified by Google. Google co-founder Sergey Brin and State Senator Alex Padilla, who sponsored the bill, were along for the ride. An engineer for the technology company, Chris Urmson, sat in the driver’s seat, but the car drove itself.

JAMB Set To Release Exam Results 30 Minutes After The Examination




 The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Registrar, Professor Dibu Ojerinde has said that the proposed Computer Based Test (CBT) which will enable candidates write their examination on-line, will commence from 2013.

According to the JAMB registrar, who led the advocacy visit to Kaduna State Ministry of Education, National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), Kaduna Polytechnic and National Teachers Institute (NTI), the board will also ensure uninterrupted power supply during the examination.
He said although UTME candidates for 2013 will have options of Paper Pencil Test (PPT) and Dual Based Test (computer and paper), the board will begin full blown computer based testing by 2015.
“From now on, with the use of Computer Based Testing (CBT), candidates will get their result within 30 minutes after the examination. It will also address cases of result black out and examination malpractice.
