Hoodlums visit Kenyan shopping mall, at least 22 people killed



 Gunmen stormed a shopping mall in Nairobi, Kenya this afternoon Saturday September 21 killing at least 22 people in what could possibly be a terrorist attack. An eyewitness claimed the gunmen told Muslims to stand up and leave the mall and that only non-Muslims would be targeted. By the time they finished shooting indiscriminately, at least 22 were dead and at least 50 people injured.

One survivor said and that the attackers started from the Westage mall ground floor and made their way to the top. He said they had grenades and AK-47 rifles and he saw at least five of them. Local TV stations reported that the gunmen took hostages as soldiers and local policemen surrounded the mall. Another survivor said he was shot at by a man who looked like a Somali.

6 dead and at least 100 injured as hail storms and tornadoes hit Texas





Multiple fatalities and 120 homes destroyed as storms and powerful tornadoes struck Texas Wednesday.

Matt Zavadsky, a spokesman for MedStar Mobile Healthcare says about 100 people were injured as tornadoes touched down several times in Hood, Tarrant, Dallas and Parker counties. Hardest hit were two neighborhoods, Rancho Brazos Estates and DeCordova Ranch, in the southern end of the town of about 8,000 residents.
"With these types of tornadoes, they touch down; they lift up; they touch down. They tend to hopscotch," he said.

IRAQ: Suicide Bomber Kills At Least 27



A bomb exploded on Thursday night in a popular coffee shop in western Baghdad, killing at least 27 people and wounding 51 others, city police officials said.
The bomb was hidden in a plastic bag and then put in a cafe in the Iraqi capital’s al-Amriya neighborhood, where it detonated around 10 p.m., according to police.
They estimated the device contained about two kilograms of highly explosive material.
The explosion ripped through the three-story building, which also includes an ice cream parlor on the first floor and medical offices on the second floor.

Firstpost World Nigerian fuel tanker explosion kills at least 36




LAGOS (Reuters) – At least 36 people were killed when a fuel tanker exploded after crashing into a crowded bus in southern Nigeria, officials said on Saturday. The Federal Road Safety Commisson said the crash happened on Friday on the Benin-Ore road linking the commercial hub of Lagos with southeast Nigeria. Three people were injured.
Traffic accidents are common in Nigeria, where roads are bad and safety standards poor.At least 95 people were killed in July last year in southern Nigeria when a petrol tanker crashed and caught fire as people crowded around it to scoop up the fuel.

Reports of mass shooting in California - at least 3 dead



At least three people are dead after a shooting spree stretching from Ladera Ranch into Tustin and Orange.
It all started around 5:20 a.m. Tuesday when Orange County sheriff’s deputies responded to a call from a home on Red Leaf Lane in Ladera Ranch.

One female was pronounced dead at the location, according to sheriff’s spokesman Jim Amormino.
The suspect, a male in his 20s, fled in an SUV into the Tustin area, where there were multiple shootings, Amormino said.

He added that there is not any immediate threat to the community, but could not provide additional details on the suspect’s status. There appeared to be at least five other crime scenes across Tustin and ending in Orange, right near Villa Park.

At least 21 people burned after motivational speaker urges them to walk on hot coals



When someone tells you to dosomething stupid do not listen, you willget burned.

At least 21 people have been burned after walking over hot burning coals for the motivational speaker Tony Robbins.

The news media reported that at least three people went to a hospital and most suffered burns of second or third degree.

Terrible Sunday: At-least 245 killed In Brazilian NightClub Fire





Sao Paulo, Brazil 
-- A fire swept through a popular nightclub in southern Brazil early Sunday, killing at least 245 people, state media reported, citing police. 
The death toll was expected to climb as firefighters continued to pull bodies from the Kiss nightclub in Santa Maria, said Col. Adilomar Silva, the regional coordinator of civil defense.

Most of those killed appeared to have died of smoke inhalation, Silva said. Hundreds are believed to have been injured, though an exact count was not immediately available.  Many people were trampled in the panic to leave the club, one security guard tell us  The fire started "from out of nowhere" on a stage at the club and quickly spread to the ceiling, witness Jairo Vieira told Band News.
