Sunnewsonline.com
Until June 23, not many could have suspected that all was not well between Emeka Agu, 28, and his pregnant girlfriend, Miss Bidemi Akinsolufe. That night, disaster struck in their home in Ayobo area of Lagos, as Emeka allegedly set his lover ablaze.

Nearly a month after, Bidemi still writhes in pain at the Gbagada General Hospital, even as Emeka awaits his date with the law. The reporter met the badly burnt lady on her hospital bed and she narrated what led to the sad incident.“I started dating him last year but my boyfriend is very jealous. Even whenever my sister called me, he would want to call back to be sure it wasn’t a man that called me. “He was working before and had his own place but he later lost his job and had no place to stay. Just In: Polytechnic Lecturers Calls Off Strike
After about three months of embarking on an industrial action following disagreements with the authorities in the education ministry, we gathered that lecturers of Nigerian Polytechnics have finally called off their indefinite strike. I hear the strike was called off after the government reached certain agreements with the leaders of the relevant unions, as agreed by all stakeholders. Lets hope that the case with ASUU will also be resolved in the interest of the country.

Rivers state fracas: Presidency wants Governor Amaechi probed
The Presidency has advised security agencies to ensure that Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi was investigated and prosecuted after his tenure in office for his alleged involvement in Tuesday’s mayhem in the state House of Assembly.
The advice was given just as the Action Congress of Nigeria urged the Police Service Commission to address the causes of the fracas in the House rather than the symptoms in its investigation of the role of the police in the crisis.
The comments by the Presidency and the ACN followed a July 9 petition by Amaechi to Jonathan on the free for all that led to infliction of injuries on some lawmakers following an attempt to impeach the Speaker of the House, Mr. Daniel Amachree by a group led by Mr. Evans Bipi. Amaechi had in the petition which was also addressed to the PSC Chairman, Mike Okiro, requested the immediate transfer of the Commissioner in charge of the state Police Command, Joseph Mbu.

Why We Must Rally Round Amaechi – Tinubu
Leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN , Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu has urged support for Governor Chibuke Amaechi of Rivers State from the hierarchy of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who he claimed, have added public brawling to their achievements.
In a statement issued by his media office last night, Tinubu described the ensuing crisis in Rivers State as an orchestrated plan that is in line with the PDP’s definition of democracy where minority opinion prevails over majority. He thus warned that Nigerians must rally round the embattled governor and chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, NGF, to ensure that democracy is not re-defined.
He cited the recent election for the chairman of the NGF and the quest of five members of the Rivers State legislature to dominate the others as illustrations of how far the PDP would go to achieve its aims even against reason.

1. Body Language
Body language is difficult for some men to understand. One would think that ‘crossing and uncrossing your legs’ is a pretty obvious flirting method, especially if you’re wearing a pair of really high heels. It’s a very sexy approach, but some men are too insensitive to realize its considered flirting! If you flirt using body language, you should think of a different approach that all men pick up on. Try a method that involves body contact, like brushing his arm if he makes a funny joke.
