Two Friends R-ápe Pastor's Daughter In Her Father's Presence
What is wrong with guys these days? A high Court sitting in Ughelli, Delta State has sentenced two bad guys, described as “notorious rápists,” Ernest Steve, 30 and Jerry Godwin, 29, to life imprisonment for ráping a 17-year-old daughter of a Pastor.
Prosecution told the court that after robbing parents of the young girl of valuables, they went ahead and had carnal knowledge of the girl serially, causing severe injuries in her private area... The incident took place on November 5, 2007 when the duo broke into the residence of the parents of the girl at Young Africa Close, Ovwian, armed with a gun and knife. It caused a lot of psychological trauma.

Plane crash victims survive after eating their dead friends
16 plane crash victims remained alive for 72 days until being rescued by eating their dead friends’ bodies, a victim told the news media.
Forty years since the accident that changed his life forever, Dr. Roberto Canessa still vividly remembers having to eat the flesh of friends to survive.
He was one of 16 men who escaped death when their chartered plane crashed in the desolate Andes mountains between Chile and Argentina on October 13, 1972. It took 72 days until they were rescued after Dr. Canessa, then a 19-year-old medical student and another survivor wandered for 10 days to get help.

Man sets friends house Ablaze !!!
A house situated at 6, Ogunfowokan street, Okota Isolo was set on fire on Sunday May 5th by a man angry with the owner of the house. The man called Ayo visited the home that Sunday morning to confront the owner, Mr Olakunle Olatunji, who he blamed for being laid off work, but met only Mr Olatunji's daughter at home. He pushed the girl out of the house and set it on fire.
The fire was later put out by the Lagos State Fire Service and Ayo has been arrested and detained at Okota Police Station. Another photo after the break..

Friends raise N50m for Assasinated Oyerinde’s children’s education
Family members, friends, colleagues and other well-wishers gathered in Edo State yesterday to celebrate the life and times of the slain Principal Private Secretary to Governor Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, Comrade Olaitan Oyerinde.
At the occasion, friends and colleagues of Oyerinde, as a demonstration of the worthy life and cause he led while alive, pledged and raised N50 million to insure and ensure the education of Oyerinde’s children to any level desirable.
Led by the state governor, Adams Oshiomhole and some senior members of his cabinet, the gathering had human rights activists, public office holders and ordinary citizens, including Mr. Femi Falana, SAN; the Trade Union Congress President, Comrade Peter Esele; the Nigeria Labour Congress Vice-President, Comrade Isah Aremu, the Deputy Managing Director of Thisday newspaper, Mr. Kayode Komolafe; a classmate of the slain aide, Mr. Rufus Olanrewaju; and Oyerinde’s widow, Mrs. Funke Oyerinde, amongst other guests. In an emotion laden remark, the widow of the deceased, Funke, said she had not come to mourn her late husband, but to celebrate his life and times.

Goldie Died Of Drugs - Close Friends
Nigeria’s music diva, Susan Oluwabimpe Harvey, popularly known as Goldie, who died Thursday night may have died as a result of doping complications, close sources to her said.
She died last night at Reddington Hospital, Victoria Island, Lagos, and barely few hours after she arrived from Los Angeles, United States of America.

Goldie’s death was confirmed yesterday by her management via her Facebook Page and Twitter handle. The post reads: “It is with heavy heart that I have to announce to you all that Goldie passed on this night (last night) shortly after arriving Lagos from Los Angeles. May her soul rest in the eternal peace of the Lord… Amin.”

Two Friends Gang-Rapé Lagos Big Girl & Take Nudé Photos Of Her
Men of the Nigerian police in Lagos State have arrested two friends, Emeka Paul, 26 and Chibuzor Esowole, 27 for allegedly gang-ráping a 22-year old woman (name withheld).
It was learnt that apart from ráping her, they took her nudé photographs and threatened to expose them if she reports to the police. Police sources alleged that the victim was lured from her Festac residence to an estate at Apapa to attend a Christmas party on 27 December, 2012.
But instead of taking her to the party, the suspects tortured, brutalized and forcefully had unprotected séx with their victim in turns.

Friends hold candle-light procession for slain doctor
Friends of Dr. Irawo Adamolekun, who was killed in Lagos traffic on Friday by a gunman on motorcycle, held a candle-light procession for him on Wednesday. The walk held simultaneously in Lagos and Abuja and lasted for almost two hours. The Lagos procession began from Military Hospital, Awolowo Road, to Falomo while the one in Abuja was held in Wuse. Adamolekun’s former classmates and co-workers attended the Lagos procession.
His friends were clad in black t-shirts with the inscription, “Irawo Isaac Adamolekun, 1986-2012, Rest in Peace our shining star.’ They sang hymns and songs of praise, describing him as a sociable and forgiving soul.

Friends and Family remember youth killed by DPO
Exactly a year today, 27-year-old Ademola Abe strolled to a newsstand few metres to his house at Yaya Abatan, Lagos to read newspapers, but never came back home alive. The young man was allegedly shot dead by the then Divisional Police Officer of Pen Cinema, Lagos, Segun Fabunmi, on January 9, 2012 during the protest against fuel subsidy removal. On Tuesday when our correspondent visited Yaya Abatan, the junction where Ademola was shot dead, a bust erected in his memory at the spot reminds passersby of a life lost prematurely.
