Video: How Soldiers Maltreated a Civilian On Independence day
This could happen to any one, even you. I mean, I've witnessed a situation where 'mad' soldiers pounced on a man in the presence of his pregnant wife in Abuja over a flimsy excuse, and beat him to rags. Too bad!

"They gave me one year to live. I have till March next year to expire". -US Based Nigerian Journalist, Rilwan Omosun in serious condition
A former Sports Editor of defunct Daily Times has hit hard times in the USA and needs assistance. This is his story as posted by his friend Azuka Jebose Molokwu.
In 1990, at the age of 31, I abandoned my job as the sports editor of Nigeria’s first evening daily paper, Evening Times, a subsidiary of THE DAILY TIMES of Nigeria. I relocated to United States to further my education and seek professional excellence with available opportunities in the world’s free press. I arrived Houston Texas, naïve and timid, with no formal training, information or survival guide kit to a migrant’s settlement in America, seeking all things bright and beautiful that “Yankee” had to offer. It’s “God’s own country”.Continue after the break.

#GoodPeopleThings: "Why I Gave my kidney to save my brother's Life" - Comedian D-Don
Popular comedian and OAP Iruvwe Okeremute aka De-Don donated his kidney to his ailing elder brother, Morris Okeremute, who urgently needed a transplant to survive. De Don traveled to India a few weeks back to donate his kidney. He explains why he did it in a new interview
"My cousin started having this kidney problem in 2009. My elder sister donated her kidney to him at the time but unfortunately in January 2013 the kidney failed because he didn't take his drugs for some weeks because the drugs he ordered from India arrived late. Se when he needed another kidney it was natural that I donate to him. It wasn't difficult making up my mind because I needed to save his life. I equally had a proper awareness about kidney donation and also the fact that nothing happened to my sister who had donated before. She even had another baby boy after the donation.
