Americans don't know where Ukraine is... but support US intervention there - poll



A series of media polling institutions have asked Americans how they want the US to react on the Ukrainian crisis. It turned out that most Americans actually know very little about events on the ground - or even where the ground is geographically located. The researches found out that the farther the respondents' guesses were from Ukraine’s actual location, the more they wanted the US to intervene there using military force, the Washington Post reports.

Guber poll: Tinubu, Akande head to Anambra for Ngige



The National leader of All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to lead the interim National Chairman of the party, Chief Bisi Akande, to Anambra on Tuesday.

They will attend Sen. Chris Ngige’s Governorship flag-off at the Holy Trinity field in the commercial city of Onitsha.

How Edo Poll Was Rigged – PDP



The Peoples Democratic Party has accused the Edo State governor, Mr. Adams Oshiomhole, of spearheading an alleged rigging of the local government polls in the state.
The National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Chief Olisah Metuh, alleged in a press conference on Sunday, that the governor rigged the polls through the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission.
The PDP National Publicity Secretary alleged further that Oshiomhole plotted to rig the elections even before the day of the election by constituting a state electoral commission that was allegedly dominated by card carrying members of the ACN.

How Ajimobi won 2011 Oyo gov poll – Tokyo





Embattled Chairman, National Union of Road Transport Workers in Oyo State, Alhaji Lateef Akinsola (a.k.a Tokyo), on Monday, said the Action Congress of Nigeria in the state would not have won the April 2011 governorship election in the state if he had no disagreement with former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala.  He also claimed that the victory would not have been possible if Senator Rashidi Ladoja had not left the Peoples Democratic Party.
