Goodluck Jonathan on Friday denied a claim by Governor Sule Lamido of
Jigawa State he reported a portion minister who allegedly collected a
$250m bribe from an oil company without the Pres Saying anything.on the
information.
A
source had on Friday quoted the governor, who is among the seven
aggrieved Peoples Democratic Party governors, as making the claim in a
interview with an Abuja-based radio station on Thursday.

“Do you know that recently a top minister received a $250 million (about 42.25 billion) bribe for himself… he (the minister) is in the cabinet; he's in this current regime; he knows and I know, and I told the President.”

In respect to a report by Premium Times The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has nabbed two sons of Jigawa state governor, Sule Lamido, over an alleged N10billion fraud.
Aminu and Mustapha Lamido were arrested on Thursday in Kano and flown to Abuja on Friday morning, and are currently being interrogated at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja by a crack team of detectives.

OMG!!: 4 Buried Alive In Katsina
Three children and a 20 year old man were early yesterday killed in Funtawa village of Rimi Local Government Area of Katsina State when they were buried alive at a sand excavation site after that portion suddenly collapsed on them. Three of the dead, Mallam Maharazu, 20, Muhammad Ma'aruf, 12, Muhammad Kabiru, 8 were brothers. The fourth, seven year-old Muhammad Halliru, was assisting the brothers to excavate sand for making mud bricks, witnesses said. The sand buried them and they couldn't be rescued early enough to escape death.
