What does a 9 year old girl need shooting lessons for? A 9-year-old girl learning to fire a submachine gun accidentally shot and killed her instructor at Last Stop gun range in White Hills, Arizona on Monday Aug. 25th. Authorities say when the girl pulled the trigger, the weapon recoiled over her shoulder and shot the instructor, 39 year old Charles Vacca, in the head. He later died in the hospital. The accidental shooting was captured on a cellphone. Continue to see the video... The Mohave County Sheriff's Office said the girl was with her parents. The website of Bullets and Burgers, the shooting range where the accident happened, says children between the ages of 8 and 17 can shoot a weapon if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Police identified the weapon as an Uzi, an Israeli-made submachine gun. Check out the cell phone video released by authorities yesterday showing the moments before the fatal shots were fired..

CCTV captured the exact moment a student, Valentine Cannings, 22, brutally plunged a knife into hisclassmate's stomach and left him for dead, after claiming he gave him 'dodgy looks'. Valentine Cannings (pictured to the right of CCTV image) viciously stabbed his victim, 17 year old Kevin Linongi, with a largehunting knife outside Bournville College's campus in Longbridge Lane, Birmingham on October 12, 2012.
Valentine Cannings was jailed for seven years on Friday March 1st for the attack after pleading guilty to wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.

IT was just a few minutes to 13.00 hours and the service of songs was in session when our chartered Caverton helicopter landed in ancient breezy coastal community of Okoroba, hometown of Mr. Oronto Douglas, a senior aide to President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. I had flown with my Uncle, Engr. Mayne David-West, Principal Consultant of Pearl Consultants, and George Kerley, Coordinator of The Jonathan Project and an unrepentant crusader of the president. We proceeded directly to the venue of the Service of Songs. It was a ten minutes walk from the school field where the helicopter had landed, and it offered an opportunity to see the sprawling ancient community and the new developments taking place. The people were very happy.
