Private jet owners barred from govt terminal
A chartered jet operator, who spoke under the condition of anonymity, said, “I think this is an unfair deal. Why should we all be forced to leave the international terminal to a private facility? This is not best practice any where in the world for the government to force operators to be patronising only one Fixed Base Operation.
“What is wrong with our present arrangement? Is this free to us all or this will be an additional cost to our already strained budget? No consultation whatsoever from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria on this before the implementation. There are so many questions. Is this another ‘food for the boys’ arrangement? This is so unfair.”

One Of Africa's Brightest President: The President Of Malawi Sells Presidential Jet For $15 Million To Aid Her Country
Cash-strapped Malawi has found a buyer for the luxury jet that had once belonged to late leader Bingu wa Mutharika. A government official said on Wednesday that the presidential jet has been sold for $15 million, raising much need funds for the impoverished African nation.
Mutharika bought the jet in 2009 for $22 million, a purchase that was widely criticized as a waste by many, including Malawi’s main bilateral donor Britain. The country reduced its aid to the African nation by 3 million pounds because of it.
Current leader of Malawi, President Joyce Banda, who took office in April 2012 after Mutharika died of a heart attack, was lauded when she made the decision to put the luxury jet up for sale.

I See the Presidential Jet Develop Man-Made Fault - Primate Ayodele
The founder of INRI Evangelical Church World Wide, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele has revealed that the death of Governor Patrick Yakowa and Gen. Andrew Azazi would have been averted, if divine warnings were not taking for granted. He has however warned President Goodluck Jonathan to sanctify his Presidential Fleet to avert an air disaster that would throw the nation into deep sorrow. "We are going into another year, again. Help me to tell President Goodluck Jonathan to sanctify his jet. Evil will not befall the nation. I could see the presidential jet developing human made mechanical fault."

El-Rufai Mocks Pastor Oritsejafor On His New Private Jet
Former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has ridiculed the decision of members of the Word of Life Bible Church, to purchase a private jet for their founder, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor on his birthday.
As soon as the news broke on social media and went viral, El-Rufaia tweeted one of the links to the story and added: “Hope Bakare will receive same…hehehe..no!”
It was perceived by a lot of people as a blow below the belt, as Pastor Tunde Bakare, who is a member of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), will probably not accept such gift from his members. And moreso, President Goodluck Jonathan was present at the occasion.
El-Rufai also went on to retweet the tweets that supported his stand on the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria’s new aircraft.
