Embattled President of the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, Aminu Maigari has reportedly been arrested by the State Security Service agent in Abuja.
Mr Maigari is said to have been arrested today August 26th alongside Musa Amadu the NFF Secretary General and Chris Green, a board member, as proceedings for the General meeting of the NFF began at Chida Hotel in Abuja. Reason for their arrest has not yet been disclosed.
Embattled Maigari was recently reinstated as Chairman of the NFF by FIFA after being impeached by the NFF Board members in July.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has arrested the Vice President of the Nigerian Football Federation, Mr. Mike Umeh. He was picked up by operatives of the Commission today in Lagos following a warrant by a Sokoto High Court. He will tomorrow, May 28, 2013 appear before Justice Bello Abass of the Sokoto High Court. Umeh is an accomplice in the case of money laundering and misappropriation of public funds to the tune of N15billion for which former Governor Attahiru Bafarawa of Sokoto State is standing trial.

Head Of Service Of The Federation Refuses To Join Issues With Maina Over Pension Looting Allegation
Head of Service (HoS) of the Federation, Alhaji Isa B. Sali has said he would not join issues with embattled chairman of Pension Reforms Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina, as it had since been dissolved and all the members returned to their respective Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).Sali said: “The President has approved the dissolution of the Pension Reforms Task Team and all the members were issued with letters to return to their various agencies.
