Gra*phic Photo: Gay-man Burned to ashes by angry mob during daylight in Uganda, few days after Anti-Gay Bill was Adopted

Uganda has signed a bill that further bans homosexuality. Based on source, a man was even burned to death to be gay shortly. The bill's original 2009 version, named "Kill The Gays," went in terms of calling for the death penalty for many homosexual acts; that provision was shelved after international furore.

Under its latest iteration, anybody who conducts marriage ceremonies for same-se-x couples faces seven years behind bars. Failure to report homosexual activity to police can also be criminalized. Doctors who treat gays, landlords who rent them property and those suspected to be LBGTQ are at the mercy of five-year prison terms under the bill.

The measure introduced by Senator Lindsey Graham demands the State Department coordinate with lawmakers on setting penalties against nations that seek to help Snowden avoid extradition to the United States, where authorities want him prosecuted for revealing details of the government’s massive surveillance system, according to the Washington Post.
