EU Court Says Homos*xuality Can Be Grounds For Asylum (Aduro)



A lot of Nigerians may soon migrate to Europe as there are indications the EU may sanction granting of asylum to African homos*xuals who can’t openly declare their $-exuality due to laws against same-s*x relationships in the continent, with many saying, even straight people could go as far as changing their sxu_ality or ‘faking’ it in order to be assured of asylum in Europe.

Strike grounds federal hospitals, JOHESU says Health Minister insincere



The nationwide strike called by the health workers’ union has taken a toll on federal health institutions across Nigeria and patients have been at the receiving end.
Visits to some of the affected hospitals in the country on Friday, showed either skeletal work or a total collapse of activities.
For instance, business activities were grounded at the National Hospital, Abuja, on Friday, following the nationwide strike declared by the Joint Health Workers Union.

Nigeria Grounds Kenyan Aircraft In Lagos



The Federal Government has grounded a Kenyan aircraft that brought in three Nigerian deportees to the Murtala Mohammad International airport, Lagos, for defying security procedures.Detention of the aircraft with registration number 5Y-SAX, owned by Cavoc airlines, was ordered by the Ministry of Foreign affairs, when the aircraft landed on 3 June, carrying one Anthony Chinedu, and two others, accused of drug dealing, who was accompanied by 15 crew members.
Kenya’s new President, Uhuru Kenyatta has publicly directed security agencies to deport drug suspects, a situation which has a lot of suspicion that Nigerians are being targeted for deportation by whatever means. Nigerian businessmen in Kenya said they are being harassed by the Kenyan government because they are believed to have supported former Prime Minister Raila Odinga during general elections in March, but the government has denied this.

FG grounds Governor Amaechi's private plane over expired permit



The Federal Government yesterday Saturday April 27th grounded a Bombardier BD700, Global Express with tag no N565 RS owned by the Rivers State government.

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, (NCAA) said the plane, which is Governor Rotimi Amaechi's private plane, has been operating illegally as it's clearance to operate expired since April 2, 2013. 

The Director of airworthiness standards of the NCAA, Engineer Benedict Adeyileka, explained:
