A gunman opened fire on Monday around a Navy facility building in Washington, United States, killing about 12 people. Identified as Aaron Alexi, the shooter was later gunned down by a sniper. “He aimed the gun and fired our way. I couldn’t believe it,” a male survivor who identified himself as Todd Brundidge told the media.
The violence started unfolding around 8.20am on Monday, when several shots were fired inside the southeast Washington facility. People frantically ran down stairs to get out of the building. Mr Todd said: “They were pushing. They were shoving. People were falling down. As we came outside, people were climbing the wall trying to get over the wall to get out. …. It was just crazy.” Security agencies have launched full investigation into the incident
