The Police authorities have dismissed one Corporal Abudu Alonge who was reported to have shot dead a pregnant woman in Akure, Ondo State, on Tuesday evening.
The shooting was said to have been caused by the failure of the driver of the commercial car the pregnant woman was in to part with N20 bribe along the Ijapo road in Akure.The incident which caused pandemonium and disrupted peace in the metropolis for over two hours occurred around 6p.m.
