I Enjoy Killing those God Asks Me To Kill Like Chickens – Abubakar Shekau.
Last month, we Nigerians received some startling news from the army: Abubakar Shekau, the leader of the militant Islamist group Boko Haram, which has killed some 3,000 people in northern Nigeria over the last four years, “might have died.”
The government has provided no proof of this claim. No corpse has been displayed, and Boko Haram, whose name loosely translates as “Western education is sinful,” has been silent on the matter.

God Forbid I'm Not Broke - Kas
In a recent chat with a Punch reporter, Fimile crooner Kas says he is not broke and people spreading the rumor should put a stop to it. ou are likely to have been broke: “I have been busy. The truth is that you cannot rely on music alone. Hence, the diversification. So, it’s amazing that people can ever think I am broke. God forbid, I am not broke. Amidst laughter, he adds, “I’ll run back to London, if I ever become broke. I have a sachet and bottle water-producing company, which used to be based in Maryland, Lagos. However due to an overwhelming demand from customers, I had to shut it down and open a much bigger one in Surulere.”

I ran to God when I was named Head of State – Gowon
Former Head of State, General (Dr.) Yakubu Gowon (rtd), has revealed that when it became inevitable that he would become the Head of State of Nigeria, after the 1966 counter- coup, the first thing he did was to send everybody around him away, lock himself up and go on his knees to pray fervently for God’s divine grace to rule.
The ex-head of state and convener of Pray Nigeria Group and patron of Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN), made the disclosure in a brief remark on the topic, “Individual Accountability in Service,” adopted for the 9th annual luncheon of the special members forum of the BSN, at the Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos, last week.

2015: “Obasanjo Is No God, He Cannot Decide Nigeria’s Leader” – Presidency
The cold war between the camp of former president, Olusegun Obasanjo and President Goodluck Jonathan took a new turn over the weekend, as a presidential aide called bluff the threats by Obasanjo not to back Jonathan if the latter eventually declares his intention to re-contest in 2015.
Although the president is yet to openly affirm his intention to run or not, analysts say his body language and that of those around him stoutly suggest the opposite.
