BARBARIC: Human Skull Serving As Soap Dish Found In House Of Suspect -

The case started with a seek out a suspect who had been threatening the life of his victim, saying that his life have been paid for, and the victim would therefore need to cover a ransom to redeem his life. But the authorities were astounded when, within their bid to arrest the suspect, they found the skull of a person serving as a soap dish in his house.

The bizarre but true story occurred in Ifon, in Ose Local Government section of Ondo State recently.

Crime reports learnt that the suspect, Aigbohai Jimoh (25) in connivance with his partner in crime, Ikujeniya Yinka (26), developed an ingenuity that may be fetching him cool cash with little stress. He reportedly sent a text to one Samuel Afolayemi on June 21, demanding a amount of N400,000.

Heartless: Yobe killings barbaric, wicked – Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday described the killing of 29 pupils of Government Secondary School, Mamudo, Potiskum, Yobe State, as wicked and barbaric and vowed to flush our perpetrators of violence out of the country. “The killing is barbaric, completely wicked. Anybody who will target innocent children for any kind of grief will certainly go to hell,” the President said in a statement by his spokesman, Reuben Abati.

The presidential condemnation came on the heels of the closure of secondary schools in Yobe as a result of the killings of the school pupils in Mamudo.

Governor Ibrahim Gaidam who described the killing as “cold-blooded murder”  when he visited the attacked school on Sunday ordered all secondary schools in the state shut until the beginning of next academic session in September. The pupils and one of their teachers were murdered by suspected members of the violent Islamic sect, Boko Haram whom the security forces had been waging war against since the declaration of state of emergency in Yobe, Adamawa and Borno states on May 14 this year.

A starving man in North Korea has been executed after murdering his two children for food, reports from inside the secretive state claim.A ‘hidden famine’ in the farming provinces of North and South Hwanghae is believed to have killed up to 10,000 people and there are fears that incidents of cannibalism have risen.

The grim story is just one to emerge as residents battle starvation after a drought hit farms and shortages were compounded by party officials confiscating food. Undercover reporters from Asia Press told the Sunday Times that one man dug up his grandchild’s corpse and ate it. Another, boiled his own child for food.
