An Ikeja Magistrate Court, Monday, remanded a 21-year-old Okada rider, who allegedly used a toy gun to dispossess his victim of cash and property valued at N48,000. The defendant, whose name is Akinyemi Gbenga, who was arraigned before Magistrate O. The police prosecutor, Inspector Roman Unuigbe, told the court that the defendant committed the said offence on January 24, 2013, at Charity Bus Stop, Oshodi, at about 5a.m. He said the defendant, who is an ‘area boy’, along with others now at large, attacked one Juliet Ibekeme.
