The South-West Zonal Coordinator of the agency, Mr Iyiola Akande,said this in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Thursday in Ibadan. He said the prediction by the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) was made available to NEMA to help it prepare for disaster mitigation. Akande said the rainfall pattern in most parts of the country was likely to be similar to that of 2012, although Saki’s rainfall could be about 283mm above that of last year.
