The popular Igwu bridge linking Ndi Ebe Abam to other towns collapsed on July 1st the moment a 25 tons tipper carrying gravel plied on it. Fortunately no life was lost however now the villagers say they've been cut off from other towns as a result of the collapsed bridge which served as the only real motor-able wood-road which the indigenes used for connecting with other towns.
The people of Ndi Ebe Abam have asked that we appeal to the Arochukwu L.G.A. Chairman and Abia State government to come to their aid, saying people residing in the town have been adversely affected by this mishap.
