Oliver Stone Questions Theories on MH17 Crash Circulating in US Media

US director Oliver Stone urged not to take for granted numerous US media reports accusing Russia of its involvement in the crash of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17.  In a statement posted on his Facebook page Stone stressed the necessity to examine alternative versions of the tragedy brought up by journalists.

“This is too good to be true. After this massive rush to judgment by US media, please read these fascinating dissents from 2 honest investigative journalists who probe deeper than our propagandizing fourth estate. This is an unnecessarily dangerous situation brewing because of US politics,” Stone said.

Russia’s envoy to the European UnionVladimir Chizhov

BRUSSELS, July 23 (RIA Novosti) — Russia handed all of its Defense Ministry’s data on the Malaysia Airlines MH17 crash in eastern Ukraine to the European Union, but has seen no reaction yet, Russia’s envoy to the European UnionVladimir Chizhov said Wednesday.

“We handed it [data] on Tuesday, as soon as we got it in writing in Russian and English. We forwarded it to all the people concerned,” Chizhov told journalists in Brussels.

“There has been no reaction so far,” Chizhov added.
