The number of communities submerged by flood in Bayelsa Condition increased on Thursday together with the disaster spreading to Toru-Orua, household city of Governor Seriake Dickson in Sagbama Local Govt.Our correspondent learnt that apart from houses, the farmlands of through 700 residents in the communities inside the area experienced been taken around by floods.It was learnt that floods sacked two standard rulers in Sagbama, Chief Ekadi Aziza and the Ebidaowei of Kabowei Kingdom, Hope Torruo.

He blamed the improvement on the ongoing dredging of the River Niger adding that the company responsible for that contract did a shoddy employment. He explained, “The shoddy job completed through the contractor that handled the dredging of River Niger was responsible for that flood ravaging the Bayelsa end of the region. Rather than dredging from mineral water to land, the installers dredged from water to water.”
