Bomb Blast in Kano this afternoon, many feared dead!
A Blast occurred around 3pm today at New Road Motor in the Sabongari section of Kano city, according to police sources. The explosive was hidden in a desk top fridge disguised as luggage. Information on casualties remain sketchy but eyewitnesses say scores were killed and as much as 10 people injured. Details later...

Bomb blast in Maiduguri market this morning
A bomb exploded at an active market in Maiduguri, Borno state, today July1st. Eye-witnesses said the bomb went off around 8am today at the busy market near a Power Holding building. Number of casualty is likely to be high as a result of how crowded the location is. A Borno state govt official confirmed the blast to Sahara Reporters, saying the causality number is very high but stated that security agencies are working to secure the location and rescue victims. Today's bombing would be the first major bombing by Boko Haram since the start of Ramadan.

10 People died on the spot as Bomb Blast hit Kano
A bomb blast occurred today around 9.30pm at a favorite drinking spot on Ekiken street in Sabongari section of Kano state. Casualty figure is yet unknown but unconfirmed reports say about 10 people was killed in the blast. Details later...

Video: Footage at the Scene of New Nyanya Bomb Blast
According to the Punch reports, "Abuja, another explosion claimed about 30 lives on Thursday evening."
Also, another eyewitness who is on ground, said that, "70 people have been confirmed dead so far.."
Eyewitnesses told the reporters that 25 bodies were taken to the Maitama District Hospital, Asokoro, four corpses were dropped at the National Hospital while one body was taken to an unidentified hospital in Nyanya. Scores of injured people were also evacuated by ambulances to different hospitals for treatment. Emmanuel Ezekiel, said that 10 bodies had been deposited in the mortuary while 13 unconscious persons were receiving treatment in different hospitals.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) today 30th October, 2012 at about 10am embarked on rapid assessment of hospitals for the second day running to ascertain the conditions of victims of the recent Kaduna bomb attack which occurred at the St. Rita’s Catholic Church, Ungwar Yero, Malali, Kaduna.
