While security agencies have condoned the area of an explosion this evening in Nyanya Abuja, response agencies have moved injured victims to hospitals and at least Nine (9) lifeless bodies have been deposited in the mortuary while 11 unconscious victims are receiving medical attention in different hospitals in Abuja.

The crisis center of National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, have confirmed to PREMIUM TIMES that there were casualties in the Nyanya Workers’ Day blast, but the casualty rate is unknown yet.Officials said victim and survivors have been rushed to the National Hospital in Abuja Central Business District.
