Six world powers & Iran can reach an agreement in fair negotiation on November, 20 – Lavrov

Six world powers and Iran can succeed in talks on Iran's nuclear program on November 20 in Geneva if the negotiators will not put "sticks in the wheels," said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with "Nezavisimaya Gazeta".

"The next meeting, which will begin on 20 November in Geneva on the Iranian nuclear program will have on the table the specific documents that were discussed at the previous meeting. Among these documents there are certain amendments of the "three plus three" members. But if we are going to stick to honesty that indicates the end game, as the English say, which means the ultimate goal of the whole process, then we have every chance to succeed as long as we do not put sticks in the wheels, "- he said.

Lavrov underlined that the sanction pressure on Iran will not solve anything.

" Nowhere the sanctions did bring any result. Now, some begin the argument by saying that these positive developments in Iran's approach, its willingness to negotiate became possible only because it was feeling the pressure of sanctions. Let's leave it to historians. It is unforgivable for diplomats to get involved in this senseless talk, because we now have a real chance of reaching a deal in the best sense of the word. If you get distracted on why this is happening, we can miss out this chance, "- said the Minister.

Six world powers of international mediators (Russia, USA, China, France, Britain and Germany) scheduled another meeting with Iranian representatives on Tehran's nuclear program for November 20 in Geneva. Negotiators are trying to ensure the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program in exchange for weakening the international sanctions.
