Obasanjo, Otedola Pray, Eat Lunch With Jonathan

The curtain of uncertainty surrounding the resolution of the rift  between former President Olusegun Obasanjo and President Goodluck Jonathan is gradually being opened giving a vista of hope for the resuscitation of the ruling People’s Democratic party (PDP) and the stability of the political landscape.

Only last week, for the umpteenth time Obasanjo took on Jonathan’s presidency on what he described as the latter’s government inability to overcome the security challenges posed by the proliferation of violence orchestrated by the activities of  Islamic religious sect, Jama’atul Ahlus Sunnah Lid Da’awati Wal Jihad, otherwise known as Boko Haram.

In an unexpected move Sunday afternoon, Obasanjo, along with two of his daughters, Femi Otedola, Chief Executive Officer of African Petroleum Plc and one other person whose identity wasn’t ascertained, came to the presidential villa where they attended a prayer session with President Jonathan.
