Residents of Okosi Road in Onitsha, Anambra State woke up to a most gruesome sight Sunday Morning. On top of a pile of rubbish in a garbage dump lay the dead bodies of a set of twin babies. It was obvious that they were just a couple of hours old. Still covered in fluid and placenta still intact. People flocked to the scene as the ghastly story quickly spread. So far, there are no leads concerning the identity of the mother and it still remains a horrible mystery. Eye witnesses sent me the horrific pictures and I sent a couple of known friends from the area to ascertain that it wasn’t just images off the internet. And lo, it was true as day.
