Controversial Lagos pastor, Dr. Sign Fireman, real name Ofuche Ukoha, in a new interview has once again stated his innocence after an 18-year-old suspect, Ikechukwu Egbo, arrested for raping and killing a 12-year-old girl, Bose Ogoja, in Badagry implicated Fireman in the murder. Fireman was ARRESTED but later RELEASED ON BAIL 4 days later.

Ministry of Interiors Saudi Arabia bans 51 baby names: Malak, Linda, Rital, Emir...
The Ministry of Interior has added 51 names to its list of banned names for babies born in the Kingdom. In its statement, the Civil Status Department said some names are not in line with social traditions while others are not appropriate in terms of religion or have a Western origin. Parents cannot give their newly-born babies the following names: Malak, Abdul Ati, Abdul Nasser, Abdul Mosleh, Nabi, Nabiya, Emir, Somu, Al-Mamlaka, Malika, Mamlaka, Tabaraka, Nardeen, Maya, Linda, Randa, Basmalah, Tuleen, Arm, Nareej, Rital, Als, Sandi, Rama, Maleen, Eleen, Alas, Ainar, Loran, Malkiteena, Lareen, Kibriyal, Laureen, Binyameen, Narees, Yara, Sitaf, Aileen, Loland, Tilaj, Barah, Abdul Nabi, Abdul Rasool, Jibreel, Abdul Mo’een, Abrar, Milak, Aiman, Bayan, Baseel and Rilam.

The mysterious disappearance of Malaysia Airlines plane, a Boeing 777 keeps getting controversial.
The incident took another turn on Sunday, March 9, as Pastor T.B Joshua of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations - SCOAN revealed the location of the missing airliner which had 239 passengers onboard.
According to the prophet; "The plane concerned is deep inside the sea. Some of the particles will be seen on the surface of the sea any moment from now. May their souls rest in peace. We pray the Lord gives the family and loved ones the strength to bear the loss. Our prayer and love are always with them, the nation of Malaysia and other countries who had passengers on this flight."

Missing Malaysian plane: Update
U.S investigators believe that the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 communication system were shut off manually and that the plane flew for at least 5 more hours after it dropped off the radar based on analysis of signals sent by the jet's satellite communication link.
U.S counterterrorism officials are pursuing the possibility that a pilot or someone else on board the plane may have diverted it toward an undisclosed location after intentionally turning off the jetliner's transponders to avoid radar detection, according to one person tracking the probe.

3 Large Explosions Rock Maiduguri This Morning
The town of Maiduguri in Borno state this morning experienced three large explosions suspected to be a major bomb attack, Sahara Reporters reports
Saharareporters couldn't ascertain if the explosions resulted in deaths or destruction of any kind. But our sources states that the three explosions were heard across the city.
SaharaRepoprters learnt that fighters from the Islamist sect Boko Haram are attempting to bomb and dominate a significant military base called "Giwa barracks" in Maiduguri. A gunfight is raging in the region as during the time of publishing this report.

Chief Inengite Nitabai, President Goodluck Jonathan’s uncle and adopted father, has been rescued by the police after 18 days in the kidnappers’ den. However, Nitabai, whose abduction had occupied media space, has sour tales to tell. Narrating his ordeal in the hands of his captors, Nitabai, a former university lecturer, said his abductors fed him with garri and oil for the 18 days he was held captive.
He also said he was blindfolded throughout the period. He said he was almost submerged in a swamp while the kidnappers were moving him from one spot to another because he was blindfolded. The already emanciated man, said, “My ordeal in the hands of my captors was simply horrendous.
Reps Uncover fresh missing ₦35bn
More revelations by the House of Representatives Committee on Public Accounts indicated on Thursday that the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation could not account for N35bn it collected from the Service Wide Vote within nine years.
While the records of the Budget Office of the Federation showed that the OHSF received N52bn between 2004 and 2012, the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Remi Adelakun, admitted only N17.6bn.
The committee, which is chaired by Mr. Solomon Olamilekan, insisted on Thursday that Adelakun must explain how the N35bn was spent.

Ten students of Government Day Secondary School in Kankara town in Katsina state yesterday lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident when a truck laden up with timber which they boarded to simply help get them to school had a direct collision with another truck that was from the opposite direction.

8-year-old Girl Commits Suicide in Enugu
An 8-year-old girl, Chiemerie Asadu, allegedly committed suicide on Monday at the Ofulonu, Nsukka area of Enugu State. And according to Punch, the little girl hanged herself to death in the bathroom and no one in her neighborhood could give any reason behind the alleged suicide.

Pres. Jonathan’s cousin regains freedom
The special operations launched by the anti-Kidnapping squad of the Nigerian Police have rescued the abducted 70 year old cousin to the President, Chief Inengite Nitabai.
Chief Nitabai was kidnapped on February 23, 2014 by about 10 gunmen from Otuoke community in Ogbia Local Government of Bayelsa State.
No ransom was reportedly paid.

It’s already been 5 days now and there hasn’t being any better news coming from the officials of the Malaysia Airlines as to if they’ve found the missing passengers and MH370. Public statement that the Airline is putting out seems to be like they’ve given up in search of the missing people on board of the MH370. Sierra Leone's former president Ahmad Tejan Kabbah, widely credited with returning peace to the shattered west African nation after years of brutal civil war, died on Thursday aged 82. Kabbah, who led the country during an 11-year conflict in which thousands had their limbs hacked off and 120,000 people were killed, was at home when he was pronounced dead, said John Benjamin, a family friend and former chairman of Kabbah's party.
The government of President Ernest Bai Koroma led tributes to Kabbah, describing him as "one of the pillars of democracy" in the country.
