Jen Psaki suggests that phosphorus bombs under Slavyansk belongs to Russia



During a briefing, State Department spokesman Jen Psak for the first time heard from the journalists that the day before the incendiary phosphorous bombs were used under Slavyansk. Her reaction surprised the journalists.

On June 13, 2014 answering the question what is the opinion of the State Department on the use of phosphorus bombs in Slavyansk, Jen Psak repeated:
-"By whom? By Russians?"
-"By Ukrainian army", said the journalist.
-"No, I didn’t see that", answered Psaki.

On the night from 11 June on 12th of June, Ukrainian troops fired the village Semenovka with incendiary bombs, claim militias. This is the first use of such weapons in the Ukrainian conflict. Incendiary bombs are designed to initiate the fire. Such materials as white phosphorus are used to prepare them. When used for military purposes within city area, the weapons containing phosphorus is prohibited to use, according to international resolutions. This is written down in the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons.
